According to Southern Chester County Regional Police, 24-year-old Dominick L. Daddezio of West Grove was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Drunkenness, following an incident that occurred on March 31, 2019, at approximately 1:11 a.m., in the area of Rosehill and Oakland Avenues, in West Grove Borough. Police were dispatched for the report of a suspicious male walking in the middle of the road without shoes. When police made contact with Daddezio, he appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. He was highly agitated and was incoherent. Daddezio ignored verbal commands and ran from police. A physical struggle ensued, during which police were able to restrain Daddezio by pinning him to the ground, despite his continued attempts to break free. Additional officers arrived and assisted in taking him into custody. No injuries were sustained, but Daddezio was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
