According to West Goshen Township Police, on the evening of Wednesday, June 6, 2018, they attempted to stop 25-year-old Tarrez Hovington of Coatesville in the parking lot of the Wawa at 1050 West Chester Pike. Police were aware that Hovington was driving with a suspended license and that he was also wanted for violent crimes. He failed to stop for the officers, and led police on a vehicle pursuit for several miles. Following a vehicle and short foot pursuit, Hovington was captured by police inside a family member’s residence on East Miner Street in West Chester Borough. West Chester Borough Police assisted with that arrest. Hovington was charged with fleeing and attempting to elude police, recklessly endangering another person, reckless driving and other traffic offenses and felony drug possession with intent to distribute.
