The Chester County Health Department’s recently released Restaurant Inspection Report showed that the Acme in West Goshen had several violations. The store, located along the 900 block of Paoli Pike, had seven violations. They included “Expired perishable foods observed throughout facility …including: deli meats, breaded chicken trays, hot dogs, and yogurts.” Also, the report shows that in the grab and go deli section “potentially hazardous foods were observed with temperatures in the danger zone, ranging from 48F-52F, rather than 41F or below as required.” The report also cites the store for not having a certified Chester County Food Manager because the store’s current food manager’s credentials have expired.
