In September of 2017, 29 year-old Brandon Swann was found dead in the basement of a Philadelphia home. Police responded to a homicide report and found his body that had been stabbed and burned. Police searched the home and could not link anyone to the murder until nearly 2 years later. This past Monday police arrested Cheyenn Hurt for the murder of Brandon Swann. Hurt, 24, of the 1100 block of West Chester Pike in West Chester, has been charged with murder, unlawful restraint, criminal conspiracy, possessing instruments of crime, causing-risking a catastrophe, criminal trespass, tamper with evidence, arson and burglary, The Daily Local reports. Hurt was taken to Riverside Correctional Facility, where she was denied bail. A preliminary hearing has been set for Sept. 4.
