Bill Werndl Sports Chatter

He’s known as “The Icon” for a reason.  Bill Werndl has been covering Sports for over 40 years.  He was a long time Sports Producer at both WFIL TV Channel 6 and WCAU TV Channel 10 in Philadelphia.  For several years Bill also hosted the Eagles Post Game Radio Show with Ron Jaworski.  He then moved to San Diego, California to pioneer Sports Talk Radio in that city.

Simply put. Bill knows or has covered every major sports figure in the Philadelphia area from Richie Allen to Bill Bergey to Julius Erving to Pete Rose to the athletes and coaches of today!

The Sports Chatter is a combination of interviews with the movers and shakers in Philadelphia and beyond. combined with in depth coverage of the Chester County Sports Scene you can’t get anywhere else. Bill covers the local High School Sports scene like a blanket. Where else can you hear interviews with local players and coaches in all the different high school sports.

Bill’s show has been praised by guests like legendary Philadelphia Eagles Play by Play man Merrill Reese, TV News legend Larry Kane and Sportscasters Don Tollefson and "Big" Al Meltzer.

Friday’s edition is hosted by WCHE News Director and Sports Play by Play Veteran Greg Fry.

Bill also Co-Hosts the Jolly & The Loon Show with Sports Radio Personality Paul Jolovitz.
