The members of the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department have promoted Jason Lee Ward to the rank of Corporal. The ceremony will be held at the regular meeting of the Southern Chester County Regional Public Safety Commission on Thursday, August 10 at 7:30 p.m. As a gesture to the origins of Cpl. Ward’s law enforcement career, the ceremony will take place at the West Grove Borough Council Meeting Room. Ward has 18 plus years of public safety experience, beginning his law enforcement career in August of 1998 when he accepted a position with the former West Grove Borough Police Department. On June 26, 2017, Ward’s promotion to the rank of Corporal became permanent; he is assigned as the A-Platoon Supervisor.
