State Senator Andy Dinniman announced Wednesday that the Crime Victims Center of Chester County, theDomestic Violence Center of Chester County, and the Chester County District Attorney’s office will receive $250,000 in total funding to support and enhance services for victims. The funding, which comes through the Federal Violence Against Women Act, was approved Wednesday by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD). Dinniman said. “These funds will help strengthen the criminal justice system’s response to violence against women and support and expand vital services for victims and their families.” The funds will be used to support staff in both the DA’s Office and Crime Victims Center of Chester County, as well as county-wide training.
