This past Monday, the Chester County police gathered around the house belonging to a man in Phoenixville who appeared to be a threat to himself and others. Police and Swat members posted up outside of the man’s house with guns drawn around 9 am. Officials talked to the man through a loudspeaker and influenced him to come outside. The man surrendered around 12 pm and was taken into custody with no harm dealt. Police did not release any information regarding why the man was deemed a threat.
