The West Brandywine Township Police dept. announced Tuesday that a 14-year-old has been located. Police say the boy went missing person from the Devereux Brandywine Behavioral Health Facility in Wallace Township. The boy, described as a white male, weighing 135 pounds, and five feet six inches was last seen wearing a black baseball cap and plaid pajama-style pants at the intersection of Route 282 and Devereux Road. Police thank area residents for their assistance in helping to locate that child. The facility has been in the headlines in the past for its residents escaping. Most notably, in February 2017, Khemmathat Fariss escaped and then committed a violent home invasion burglary in which the teen beat, bound and locked a 72-year-old woman in a dark room for days. The boy, who was later order to be tried as an adult, also escaped from Devereux Brandywine.
