According to West Goshen Township Police, 32-year-old Kristopher Michael Waldrum of Belle Vernon, PA, attempted to cash a stolen company check June 26 at the Fulton Bank in the 1200 block of West Chester Pike in West Chester. Waldrum presented the $1,867 check, along with a photo identification to a bank employee. When the bank recognized the check was stolen, Waldrum fled. He was immediately located by police in a neighboring parking lot and taken into custody. He was charged with forgery, writing bad checks and receiving stolen property. Waldrum was transported to Chester County Prison after failing to post bail.
