According to Coatesville Police, their officers were dispatched Monday, March 11 shortly after 3 a. m., to the intersection of Madison Street and West 6th Ave. for a male attempting to break into vehicles. Police say that they came into contact with a male wearing a grey hoodie who identified himself as Jon Rodriguez. Witnesses at that location say that they saw the male pulling on the handle of a black SUV, as well as physically shaking a black, Dodge pickup truck. That witness was able to identify the male as the same one with police who was wearing the grey hoodie. Police later determined that the male had given them a false identification, He was correctly identified as 19-year-old Orion Roldan. Roldan also had a large key ring containing keys for several makes and models of vehicles, as well as tools that would assist with an attempted vehicle break in. Police charged Roldan with attempted theft and false identification to law enforcement.
