According to Kennett Square Police, on December 23, 2018 at 11:23 p.m., officers were dispatched for a domestic disturbance between two males in the 700 block of Lafayette Street. Once on location, the officers observed one male, identified as 27-year-old David Aceto, yelling at the victim. Officers observed Aceto’s hands to be bleeding. The victim stated Aceto was drinking, became irate and punched a window causing it to break. The officers tried to get Aceto to calm down, but he continued to yell and physically struggle with the officers as they attempted to place him under arrest. Aceto then spit on and tried to bite an officer while being placed in the patrol car. Aceto was arrested and remanded to the Chester County Prison for arraignment on the charges of Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest and related charges.
