According to recently released U.S. Census Bureau data, Chester County’s population is growing the fastest out of the Philadelphia.-area suburbs. The Philadelphia Inquirer analyzed that data extensively and found that while Chester County’s population may have exploded, other regions in the area lost population, including areas in Bucks County and counties in southern New Jersey. The paper says that “Chester County‚Äôs population is growing the fastest, with an increase of 3.9 percent between 2010 and 2017.” It is attributed to the county’s young population and attracting an international migration. Included in the municipalities in Chester County that have grown in population since 2010 by at least 10 percent, are East Brandywine, West Vincent, London Grove, Londonderry, Malvern, Valley, East Whiteland, Sadsbury and Avondale.
